Future Plans

As LDC Bangladesh can export duty free, quota free to developed countries. Over and above this, no antidumping duty is applicable on Bangladeshi product. Our leather division has just finalized plans to export shoes from Bangladesh to developed countries.

SEDF has completed a project for TIL, Bangladesh for exporting bicycles to developed countries. We are on the verge of finalizing an agreement with a local bicycle spares manufacturer, for exporting spares to the African market and in future exporting bicycles to developed countries.

Continued presence in Bangladesh would enable us to identify new business opportunities for our group companies which can be facilitated with the existing infrastructure developed over a decade in Bangladesh.
